WINDBER COAL HERITAGE CENTER & MINERS' PARK
Windber was a company coal town, and the heritage center right in the middle of it tells that story straight. Miners' Park around it holds the monuments and the old buildings. Windber Coal Heritage Center
FLIGHT 93 NATIONAL MEMORIAL
Twenty-five minutes away in Stoystown. The visitor center, the Wall of Names, and the Tower of Voices. Give yourself more time there than you think you need. Flight 93 National Memorial
JOHNSTOWN FLOOD MUSEUM
Fifteen minutes north in Johnstown, the museum tells the story of the 1889 flood that put the town in every newspaper in the country. Late October in the Laurel Highlands, the drive over is worth it on its own. Johnstown Flood Museum
