DANIA BEACH FISHING PIER & OCEAN PARK
The pier runs straight out over the Atlantic and it's open from early morning to midnight. Walk it for a couple of dollars, or bring a rod and fish it. Best view in town, and it's minutes from everything else on this list. Ocean Park, Beach & Pier
DR. VON D. MIZELL-EULA JOHNSON STATE PARK
Two miles of undeveloped coastline, with Whiskey Creek winding back through the mangroves behind it. It's the last natural stretch of coast in Broward County, named for the two civil rights leaders whose wade-in protests desegregated these beaches. Kayak it, snorkel it, or just walk it. ANTIQUE ROW ON FEDERAL HIGHWAY
Dania Beach has been South Florida's antique district for decades, and the shops along US-1 are still full of Art Deco pieces, old toys, and things you weren't looking for. Stop at Jaxson's while you're on that strip… they've been scooping ice cream on Federal Highway since 1956. Dania Beach guide
