While you're in town for the show, here's a few things worth doing in the area.

GRAND CAVERNS
About twenty minutes down the road in Grottoes sits the oldest continually operating show cave in the country, open since 1806 and a National Natural Landmark. It holds a steady 55 degrees year round, which makes it a fine way to spend a January afternoon. Grand Caverns

WILDWOOD PARK & COOK'S CREEK ARBORETUM
Bridgewater keeps a dozen parks for a town of six thousand people. Wildwood runs along the North River and the arboretum next to it is an easy walk under the trees. Bridgewater parks

DOWNTOWN HARRISONBURG
Fifteen minutes north is Virginia's first designated culinary district. Independent restaurants, record shops, and a couple of good breweries, all walkable before you head back for the show. Visit Harrisonburg
